Snow leopards

  • Endangered Snow Leopards in Central Asia

The International Snow Leopard Trust protects wild snow leopards by safeguarding the wellbeing of both cats and humans. It acknowledges that "grass roots" caring is ultimately what will save these animals, and encourages families to help protect snow leopards with creative incentives. Funding from Quarters for Conservation supports these efforts to protect snow leopards and the livelihoods of the people who live near them. Learn more at www.snowleopard.org.

2. The amount of energy and resources needed to keep the community going.

3. As the demand for energy increases with the population and technology increases it becomes harder to maintain sustainable living.

4. Become more energy efficient by not using fossil fuels but instead using renewable resources and alternate energy sources such as wind, solar and hydro energy.
